Our Acupuncturists Licensed TCM Physicians in Mumbai
Board-licensed Traditional Chinese Medicine practitioners with decades of combined clinical experience — training that directly protects your safety and outcomes.
Credentials Matter in Acupuncture
In India, the acupuncture field is largely unregulated. Anyone can call themselves an acupuncturist. At Balancepoint, both our treating physicians hold formal degrees in Traditional Chinese Medicine and are licensed practitioners — a distinction that directly affects the safety and effectiveness of your treatment.
When you choose Balancepoint, you are being treated by qualified, trained, and licensed TCM doctors. Not technicians. Not wellness practitioners who completed a weekend course.
Both practitioners hold formal TCM degrees and are licensed to practice — credentials that are independently verifiable and held to clinical standards. This is what separates a therapeutic outcome from a wellness experience.

Both practitioners are trained in and practice from classical TCM frameworks — systems refined over centuries of clinical use, not modern wellness trends.
Master Tung Acupuncture
A lineage-based distal needling system with a strong track record in pain management. Points are selected far from the site of pain — producing fast, lasting results with minimal discomfort.
Dr. Tan’s Balance Method
A systematic approach to point selection based on mirror and image relationships along the meridian system. Precise, reproducible, and highly effective for both acute and chronic presentations.
Classical TCM Pattern Diagnosis
Identifying the root energetic or physiological imbalance driving a patient’s symptoms — not just treating the surface complaint. The cornerstone of every Balancepoint treatment plan.
Every treatment plan is individualized.
This is not a one-size-fits-all approach. We take the time to understand your full picture before designing a protocol specific to you.
